International Ballroom Dance Festival in June

Gatteo a Mare, which was the birthplace of Secondo Casadei - the father of Ballroom Dancing, is reconfirmed as the Capital of Ballroom Dancing.

This summer, in fact, from May 28 to June 1 it will host a great International Festival of Ballroom Dance, during which the Bigs of Ballroom Dance will perform in five evening shows accompanied by the Grande Orchestra del Liscio.

In addition to celebrating our most identifiable music, it will bring on stage evocative twinning with other dance music Capitals: Nashville the Country Capital, Buenos Aires the Tango Capital, Rio de Janeiro with its Samba, New Orleans with Dixieland and Havana with its overwhelming Latin music.
